Malcolm Andrews

Malcolm Andrews is Emeritus Professor of English at the University of Kent and author of a number of books on Dickens, including Charles Dickens and His Performing Selves (on Dickens’s public readings) and Dickensian Laughter, both published by Oxford University Press. He was Editor of The Dickensian (the journal of the Dickens Fellowship) for 30 years. 

He recently made a video, From Dickens’s Study, filmed in the study at Gad’s Hill (see photograph) and designed to introduce the house and discuss Dickens’s creative processes. It can be viewed here, on the Dickens Fellowship website:
