Our Research
Publications
Faculty and graduate students bring fresh perspectives to classic works, exploring Charles Dickens and 19th-century literature and culture through innovative scholarship. A compendium of publications by consortium members showcases this vibrant research.
NEH Summer Institutes and Seminars
These programs invite teachers into sustained study of major texts and ideas in the humanities, encouraging reading, discussion, writing, and reflection. The goal is to expand knowledge and deepen engagement with scholarship beyond the classroom curriculum.
Faculty Fellows
This fellowship connects faculty research with engaged audiences, offering opportunities to share new ideas, interact with members of the Friends group, and highlight current directions in 19th-century studies. It fosters dialogue across academic and public communities.
MLA Sessions
In collaboration with the Dickens Society, the Project co-organizes sessions at the Modern Language Association’s annual conference. These panels provide a platform for scholars to present innovative work on 19th-century literature and culture.
