The 2012 meeting of the Modern Language Association takes place in Seattle in January. The convention runs from Thursday January 5 through Sunday January 8.

The Dickens Project, in conjunction with the Dickens Society, will host two sessions on Dickens. On Saturday, Claire Jarvis (Stanford Univ.) will moderate a panel called “Dickensian Things,” followed on Sunday by “Dickensian Beginnings,” moderated by Kate Brown (Univ. at Buffalo). In addition, there is a session called “Dickens In France” that is hosted by the Division on Nineteenth-Century French Literature
