2012 Dickens Project Winter Conference
In addition to the summer Dickens Universe, each year the Dickens Project hosts a follow-up winter (or spring) event that gives the graduate students who participated in the previous Dickens Universe the opportunity to present their work in a small conference setting. This year, UC Santa Cruz is hosting the Dickens Project Winter Conference. We look forward to welcoming you back!
Join us in downtown Santa Cruz, March 30 - April 1, as we present the exciting research underway across the grad programs of the Dickens Project. The conference will take place at the Museum of Art and History located at 705 Front Street, Santa Cruz, CA 95060.
A distinguished group of scholars, both graduate students and faculty, from across the United States and abroad will attend, including representatives from Rice University; Rutgers University; the University of Southern California; UC Davis; UC Riverside; UC Santa Barbara; UC Santa Cruz; the University of Tennessee-Knoxville; University of Texas-Austin; the University of Puget Sound; Tel-Aviv University, and Vanderbilt University.
Support for the conference comes from the Friends of the Dickens Project. The event is free and open to the public.
